The reality format "Forsthaus Rampensau" is being launched in Germany for the first time. Among the 18 celebrity contestants are comedians Erkan and Stefan.
Carinthia – Cramming celebrities together in the smallest of spaces has already led to successful reality formats several times in television history. The TV show "Forsthaus Rampensau", which will soon be broadcast for the first time in Germany, follows a similar concept: 18 more or less famous candidates have to endure as self-sufficient in a forester's lodge at an altitude of 1,300 meters. In the process, the participants are presented with numerous challenges, which — so curious reality fans hope — will ultimately lead to the best trash TV.

John Friedmann (52) and Florian Simbeck (52) became known in the nineties as the comedy duo "Erkan and Stefan". After it had become rather quiet around the two TV stars in recent years, Erkan and Stefan now want to celebrate their return to the TV screens in the "Forsthaus Rampensau".
For the two comedians, participating in a reality format is a first. "As reality novices, we have a lot of respect for the loss of privacy," they said in a statement. "The worst thing would be if everyone was just stupid. You can't do much with people like that."

In Austria, two seasons of "Forsthaus Rampensau" have already been broadcast. The show is considered the Alpine country's first celebrity reality format. In Germany, the TV show will be available to watch on Joyn Plus+ from 8 December. In addition to Erkan and Stefan, according to various press reports, the newly in love Jasmin Herren (40) and Gina-Lisa Lohfink (37) are also moving into the celebrity enclave in the mountains.

The candidates who are ultimately allowed to leave the Forsthaus as winners will receive a proud 20,000 euros in prize money and will henceforth bear the title of "Rampensau". RTL is currently proving the success of such a format with its "Summer House of the Stars" – but that didn't bring luck to everyone: TV viewers are now calling for Valentina Doronina (23) to be banned from the screen by petition.
