Everyone can have a profile on the Chinese social network, even if they are on the run from Interpol. Chad Hower has been on the run from the authorities for 17 years, but far from hiding and living in the purest anonymity, the man uploads videos daily.

"Kudzu the raccoon," as he is also known, was accused in 2009 of kidnapping his son, Alex. The young man is now 26 years old and his father is dedicated to telling how he has fled the law.

In fact, through his TikTok, Chad explains why he is innocent and assures that both the FBI and Interpol are pursuing him without evidence.

Although, the truth is that there are not a few court documents that show that the man would not be telling the truth.

The Truth of the Case

It all started when in 2001 Chad and his ex-wife decided to divorce. Until now, Hower had been a software developer for Microsoft.

Thus, he began his fight for custody of his son Aarys, now known as Alex, until in 2006 he achieved it by accusing his wife of negligence.

So, both he and his son went to live in Cyprus, while his ex-wife moved to Pennsylvania. "Aarys has never lived in Pennsylvania and has no ties other than a few relatives. But there, in Pennsylvania, he filed kidnapping charges against me," Chad said in his videos.

Since then, Chad has been traveling around Europe from country to country, ensuring that none of them resulted in an extradition to the United States.

The man currently lives in Moscow, where he said he knows why the authorities are persecuting him.

His in-laws were engineers and had access to "Russian military secrets": "I was approached by three intelligence agencies, all U.S. allies, to try to recruit me when I was working for Microsoft and remarried a Russian citizen in 2002."
