Three days after the death of a 21-year-old man, stabbed to death at the Saint-Just-en-Chaussée train station, the main suspect has been indicted for "murder", the public prosecutor of Senlis, Loïc Abrial, announced on Thursday. Mathis L., 19, was remanded in custody. "The investigations will continue under the authority of the investigating judge," the magistrate said.

On the morning of January 1, the victim, named Kevin, was found "with a bloodied body" by the gendarmes in a shelter on the station platform. Despite attempts to resuscitate him, he succumbed to his injuries, the scars of a veritable wave of violence. During the autopsy of the body, the forensic doctor reportedly found about thirty wounds inflicted with a knife.
