The Association of Magistrates and Officials of the National Justice repudiated on Friday the statements of the Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, who had assured that the National Labor Justice does not analyze cases with "objectivity" and the rulings "always come out in favor of the unions", after the resolution that suspended the application of the labor chapter of the Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) of President Javier Milei.

The entity that brings together magistrates and officials from all over the country described as serious the "disqualifications formulated by the Minister of Security on the functioning of the national labor justice, since they threaten judicial independence, the foundation of the separation of powers and that makes the very essence of the republican system."

The statement entitled "Respect for the separation of powers" is signed by the president of the Association, Judge Andrés Basso, and the Secretary General Paula Andrea Castro and recalls that this entity, "always in an unalterable manner, repudiates any statement by political authorities that interferes and affects the normal functioning of the Judicial Branch of the Nation and/or the Public Prosecutors."

"Regarding the decision of the National Chamber of Labor, Minister Bullrich had declared this week that she was the head of the labor portfolio "in the year 2000," during the government of the Alliance, "and since that time the Chamber of Labor was unbearable." The only thing there was was the defense of particular interests. All the rulings always came out in favour of one or the other trade unionist, it was never a true justice where things are analysed objectively. That jurisdiction has been taken," said the Minister of Security.

Bullrich thus alluded to the ruling of the National Chamber of Labor, which was supported by judges José Alejandro Sudera and Andrea García Vior, which suspended the labor chapter of the DNU 70 of President Javier Milei at the request of the CGT and the CTA. In dissent, Third Judge Dora Gonzalez asked that the file be sent to the Court of Appeals in Contentious Matters, as the prosecutor had requested on Tuesday.

In addition, former deputy K and labor lawyer Héctor Recalde announced that there was going to be "a rain of amparos." Recalde's wife is a judge at the National Labor Court.

The rulings "always come out in favor of trade unionists" and things "are not analyzed objectively," because "they defended particular places," Bullrich added in statements to TN.
