The 14th Brigade's combat team and Yahalam Unit fighters raided Hamas' terrorist infrastructure, including seven shafts leading to the tunnels, including terrorists' residency rooms. The terrorist network is located under the Blue Beach Hotel in the northern Gaza Strip, near the beach.

Yahalam Unit fighters investigated the tunnel route using a variety of means, and this week destroyed the infrastructure. Hamas terrorists used the hotel for shelter from which they waged fighting and planned attacks above and below ground. A large quantity of weapons were found in the underground infrastructure under the hotel, including clutches, a variety of IEDs and drones. During the fighting, dozens of Hamas terrorists barricaded themselves in the hotel and fired a number of anti-tank missiles at IDF forces, who returned fire.
As part of the forces' activity in the hotel area, the fighters encountered terrorists and eliminated some of them. In addition, areas for extended stays and combat zones used by terrorists of the Hamas terrorist organization were found near the hotel.

In recent months, reserve fighters of the 14th Brigade fought in the northern Gaza Strip in three different locations: northern Jabaliya, Beit Hanoun and Gaza City. As part of the fighting, they destroyed weapons caches, missile launching positions aimed at Israel and underground headquarters used by the Hamas terrorist organization.
