They broke into his home in the early hours of the morning to rob him. Three hooded criminals entered a house in Asnières-sur-Seine on Saturday morning, the occupant of which was the victim of a home-jacking. It was around 7:30 a.m. when the three burglars broke the glass of a window of this apartment located on the rue de la Concorde. The three assailants dragged the owner out of bed and forced him to hand over jewelry, cash and a computer.
At knifepoint and with a screwdriver, the victim of the home-jacking, who had not been molested, complied. The total damage would amount to approximately 15,000 euros according to the first elements of the investigation entrusted to the departmental service of the judicial police (SDPJ 92). After the robbery, the three robbers fled in a white car. They are still being actively sought by law enforcement.
A modus operandi identical to that of the singer Vitaa
This new home-jacking comes a little more than two weeks after the one suffered by the singer Vitaa at her home in Rueil-Malmaison. The artist had also been intimidated by three hooded men who had acted in a similar modus operandi. There, too, the robbers had broken into the house occupied by the singer and her family after climbing a balcony and forcing open a bay window. They then threatened one of the children with a baseball bat before being handed at least one Vuitton suitcase and two Hermès bags.
A few months earlier, the host Bruno Guillon had also been the victim of a particularly violent home-jacking at his home in Tessancourt-sur-Aubette (Yvelines). A case in which a 27-year-old man suspected of being the alleged mastermind was imprisoned last November.
