Four people, all young people, died in a road accident that occurred along the Ionian state road 106, in Montauro, a few kilometers from Catanzaro.
Two cars were involved in the accident, a Fiat Idea and a Fiat Panda, which, according to initial findings, collided head-on.
The victims, three women and a man, were all travelling in the Fiat Panda and their death was instantaneous. There was only one person in the other car who was injured and was taken to hospital. The surveys are conducted by the carabinieri. Firefighters and ANAS personnel were also on site.
The victims of the accident, according to what has been learned, are three women and a man, all young. The findings confirmed that the collision between the two cars was head-on. The Panda in which the four victims were traveling was headed towards the province of Reggio Calabria, while the Fiat Idea driven by the person who was seriously injured and who was taken to the hospital in Catanzaro, was proceeding northbound.
