Highlights: "Big Brother" star Yarden Edri posted a scathing story on her Instagram account. She accused singer Achinoam Nini of double standards and consistent activity against the state. "As far as she is concerned, Israeli citizens are not innocent, but Palestinian citizens are," she said. "I'm a Zionist, a patriot, I love Israel and I'm willing to go very far to defend it, and that's exactly what I'm doing," she added. "Thank you so much truly. Adds to hatred, poison, lying, and incitement," Nini replied.

It seems that the restraint shown in Israel over the past three months by reality TV refugees and various celebrities in an attempt to prevent incitement and division between sections of the nation is disappearing. On Sunday, "Big Brother" veteran Yarden Edri posted a scathing story on her Instagram account, in which she accused singer Achinoam Nini of double standards and consistent activity against the state - against the background of a post by rapper Yoav Eliassi (The Shadow), in which he revealed a harsh exchange between him and Nini - following the artists' letter against the war, which she signed.

"People who work for human rights are usually completely neutral people who intervene where there is a violation of rights," Edri said. "But for some reason, in no war or operation did Noa Nini support the Israeli side to which she belongs. It always portrays Israel as a killing machine and the other side as stained and wretched and not an active partner in the terror that takes place every day in Israel, not to mention October 7," she said.

Later in her speech, she continued to attack Nini, even escalating her tone. "As far as she is concerned, Israeli citizens are not innocent, but Palestinian citizens are. Distortion of reality and morality. So maybe it doesn't work for human rights at all, but cares about the rights of terrorists with blood on their hands. So why is she here, I ask, and not in Gaza?" she asked angrily at the end.

As mentioned, Edri's comments refer to the private WhatsApp conversation that Hatzel had with Nini - who chose to share it as an online post. "I saw your post on Insta," Nini wrote to Eliassi at the beginning of the written conversation. "Thank you so much truly. Adds to hatred, poison, lying, and incitement. To think for a moment I thought you were human." Eliassi did not remain obliged and attacked back. "You're rude and for what you've done you should be ashamed of yourself. You and your friends, instead of strengthening us, weaken us and make a criminal comparison under the guise of human rights between us and the despicable Nazis. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who signed this letter should not live here and should be stripped of their citizenship."

Nini replied: "Yoav, I'm not going to be dragged where you are. You say things that are baseless and have no connection to reality and facts. I suggested you talk, but you want to be right from where you made it up. You want to be angry and hate." She then invited him to have a conversation anyway, if he wished, noting her private sacrifice for the country. "I'm a Zionist, a patriot, I love Israel and I'm willing to go very far to defend it, and that's exactly what I'm doing. My daughter is a combat soldier and my son volunteers in the reserves. This is the education they received at home. This does not contradict tireless work for peace," she explained.

Although she spoke about her relatives who are being recruited and desperate, it seems that Eliassi did not relent, and remained steadfast in his position. "It's just unbelievable. Instead of saying, 'Sorry, we were wrong,' you continue with excuses and justifications. I very much hope that your children who serve in the IDF will not have to pay the price for your prettiness and irresponsibility," he added. "'Sorry, we were wrong,' that's what you need to say," Nini finally replied.
