Highlights: "Shouting at the chief of staff?": Ofira Asayag attacks ministers | Israel Hayom. "Anyone who comes out against the army should be ashamed of himself," she said. "Ministers, shut up," she urged them. "No one wants to hear criticism, and certainly not yours in wartime," Pnina Rosenblum also said. 'The guilty will go home soon, as in my song,' she added. 'And all those responsible for what happened on October 7 will pay the price after the war'

The TV presenter decided to break her silence and express her opinion on the attack the chief of staff suffered by ministers during a cabinet meeting last week • "Anyone who comes out against the army should be ashamed of himself," she said

After participating in a salute event for IDF soldiers wounded in the fierce battles during the last three months of the Iron Sword War, Ofira Asayag returned home and decided to post a video on her especially popular Instagram column on Sunday in which she attacked the cabinet ministers. This was against the background of a discussion with the participation of all those mentioned, which exploded, as you will recall, after ministers attacked IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy for his decision to establish investigative teams for the massacre that took place on Simchat Torah.

"I just returned from a salute to IDF soldiers who were wounded, who lost legs, who lost arms, who lost eyes, who lost friends, who have been fighting from October 7 until today and probably for life," Asayag said. "I want to tell them that I salute the IDF soldiers, I salute the IDF officers, I salute the chief of staff, and anyone who comes out against the army should be ashamed of himself. Shout at the chief of staff? To dirty on officers while I and the rest of the country eat, sleep, and live because of them?" she asked angrily.

One person who struck an even harsher tone on the issue was businesswoman Pnina Rosenblum, who also uploaded a video to an online column. "Ministers, shut up," she urged them. "No one wants to hear criticism, and certainly not yours in wartime. Our soldiers, our commanders, are killed, fighting every day. You can't criticize, you can't ask probing questions of the chief of staff. Back the chief of staff," she demanded. "The guilty will go home soon, as in my song. And all those responsible for what happened on October 7 will pay the price after the war. Now shut up, you don't want to hear criticism. Ministers from all corners, right and left - all of you will shut up and back up."
