The northern front in the war: A senior commander in Hezbollah's Radwan force was assassinated on Monday in southern Lebanon near the town of Khirbet Salem.
According to Lebanese sources, Jawad al-Tawil was riding with his escort in a Honda car on the road when a drone missile was fired at them. The vehicle exploded and burst into flames and medical staff took time to identify the bodies of the passengers. Al-Tawil was a Hezbollah field commander from Radwan's elite force, trained to carry out raids into Israeli territory, among other things.

Since the beginning of the war, Hezbollah terrorists have fired dozens of rockets and anti-tank missiles at northern Israeli communities. So far, Hezbollah has announced two attacks since morning on the northern border, including a missile fired at a site in Har Dov. In recent days, Hezbollah announced that it had responded initially to the assassination of senior Hamas figure Saleh al-Arouri.
