A majority of the Israeli public, 59%, thinks that US President Joe Biden is the leader who sets the agenda in the Middle East significantly, while at the same time, 47% also think that his policies promote peace in the region more than those of other leaders. This is according to a survey conducted by the "Brain Database" at the invitation of the Dor-Moriah association.

On the other hand, only 45% of the public thinks Prime Minister Netanyahu is interested in continuing the fighting against Hamas. In terms of leaders' influence on what is happening in our region, according to the survey, the leaders in order of influence are: Biden, Netanyahu and Putin.

The survey included 1,005 residents aged 18 and over, representing the adult population. The members of the organization sought to understand the positions of leaders from around the world and from Israel regarding the continuation of the fighting and the promotion of peace.

On the question "Which of the leaders do you think has a significant impact on the agenda in the Middle East?" 59% put the US president in first place, 34.5% put Netanyahu in second place, and in third place, with 31.3% placed Russian President Vladimir Putin. In fourth place, according to the survey, is the ruler of Saudi Arabia with 16%, and only in fifth place is Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi with 10.4%.

On the question "Which of the leaders promotes peace?" most participants answered that Biden was in second place. Netanyahu is in second place by a considerable margin. A third of respondents said they could not say which of the leaders was promoting peace.

On the question "Who is interested in the continuation of the war between Israel and Hamas?" 45% of the respondents believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu is interested in this. He is followed by Vladimir Putin with 30.2% respondents, Erdogan in third place and President Biden in last place.

In a previous survey conducted by the organization, 42% of respondents responded that eliminating Hamas would have a positive effect on the attitude of Arab countries towards the State of Israel. At the same time, 37% believe that the destruction of Hamas will worsen Russia's attitude toward Israel. Regarding the attitude of Western countries towards Israel after the destruction of Hamas, 45% think the attitude will improve, compared to 21% who think there will be no effect.
