The UN General Assembly will convene on Tuesday for a special session on the war in Gaza. The focus of the discussion will be the American veto imposed in the Security Council on Russia's proposal for a ceasefire.
Israel's Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan is expected to speak at the start of the discussion at 10:00 a.m. New York time (17:00 p.m. Israel time).

In his speech, Erdan will make it clear that Israel strongly opposes a ceasefire and focuses on the return of the abductees and the demand that the UN recognize the rapes and sexual violence committed by Hamas terrorists. Erdan will also demand that Hamas be held accountable for its heinous war crimes and atrocities.
Erdan will also refer to the proceedings that will begin this week at the International Court of Justice (The Hague) and strongly condemn the moral distortion at the UN, which makes it possible to abuse its mechanisms and initiate a process that assists the Hamas terrorist organization that is attempting to commit "genocide" against the Jewish people.
