According to the company's announcement, customers who purchased the product are asked to stop using it and return it to one of the IKEA stores. Against the return of the product, customers will be able to receive a full refund, without a receipt.
"IKEA develops its products through a rigorous program of testing and controls, ensuring that they are tested and meet the relevant standards. However, we have learned that the dark grey ÅSKSTORM 40W USB charger's power cord may be damaged after wrapping it around the charger or bending it back and forth over an extended period of time. The charger can be identified by the model number ICPSW5-40-1, which is located on the label on the back of the USB charger," it said.
