The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, which is close to Hezbollah, reported Thursday morning that a man who took photos near the parliament speaker's headquarters in Lebanon in Beirut had been arrested by members of the guard.

The suspect owned a technology company linked to Google and insisted to investigators that he was working with an American company under an official contract. It was alleged against him that a company he owned signed a contract with a foreign company, and after an investigation it was claimed that it even had ties to Israel.
In the same context, Hezbollah issued a statement calling on residents of southern Lebanon to be vigilant about Israel's security activity, which is "looking for alternatives to obtaining information about the whereabouts of resistance fighters in the south." This was after Hezbollah "damaged its listening devices" at the border.
