On Friday night, the renowned 85-year-old nutritionist, Alberto Cormillot, was rushed to a private clinic in the Saavedra neighborhood. It was his wife, Estefanía Pasquini, who took him to the hospital as a result of a breakdown that led to dehydration.
According to TN, Cormillot entered the Cemic headquarters located at Galván 4102 to be tested and thus know the cause of his indisposition.
According to his wife, the media doctor is waiting for the results of an analysis carried out by the specialized medical staff to find out how his state of health is.
In a chat that Pasquini had via WhatsApp messages with journalist Lío Pecoraro, she explained the reason for the hospitalization: "He was very decomposed and dehydrated, so I brought him to the clinic to rehydrate him quickly, because he was not going to do it with liquid alone. And while they're at it, they're doing tests to see if it's viral, which is most likely."
Despite the concern generated by the news of the nutritionist's urgent hospitalization, Pasquini remarked that the father of Emilio, his two-year-old son, is "fine."

On Saturday morning, after spending the night at the clinic, Estefanía expanded on the information about her husband's condition. "Alberto started with a picture of discomposure. Last night I saw that he was half lost, so I took him to a clinic to be rehydrated. There they did a study and we had to compensate it with some electrolytes," said the nutritionist in dialogue with Teleshow.
At the same time, she warned that it could be a viral condition, given that she and her son also suffered discomfort in recent days: "Emilio had a breakdown, I was vomiting and decomposed and Alberto is with the same thing. The thing is that he has a gene that any intestinal problem breaks down worse than any other."
Estefanía Pasquini and Alberto Cormillot have been in a relationship since 2017 and married in 2019.
"Now they're looking at whether he has that or if he has clostridrium, which he already had at another time when he had colon cancer. So they want to rule out that, and in that case they're going to treat it as if it were gastroenteritis," Pasquini concluded.

Meanwhile, this Saturday at noon, Cemic reported, in an official medical report, that Cormillot was hospitalized on Friday, January 12 "due to a picture of dehydration at the starting point of a gastrointestinal focus." They added in the statement: "He is in stable condition. We are currently conducting studies to look for the etiology."

Reneé Cormillot, Alberto's daughter, was asked by Clarín about her father's state of health and she said that she found out on television that her father had been hospitalized urgently.
"I heard about it from TN and we started trying to communicate. It wasn't until 00.30 that I was able to get any news," Renee told this newspaper.
Then, he revealed that this noon he approached the Cemic and was able to have contact with his father, after he spent the night in the hospital. "I'm with him, he's much better. It's gastroenteritis, he's going to be hospitalized at least today to continue hydrating and he's just eaten with enthusiasm," she said.
