Thirty people were injured Saturday in Tuscany, central Italy, when the floor of a 15th-century convent collapsed under dancers during a wedding party, regional authorities said. Five of the injured are in critical condition after the crash near Pistoia, north of Florence, according to Tuscany governor Eugenio Giani.
About 60 people were dancing when the floor of a first-floor room gave way, according to Italian media. More than 100 rescue workers were mobilized, Giani said on Telegram.
