Jasmin Herren and Michelle are both facing hostility on social media because their partners are significantly younger than her. Now Herren is dishing out haters against Michelle's.
Mallorca – Jasmin Herren (44) and Michelle (51) attracted attention this year with their younger partners. There are 23 years between the reality TV actress and her boyfriend Philipp Bender (21), and Michelle and Eric Philippi (26) are even 25 years. When they publish photos of couples on social networks, there is a lot of criticism. Many users have no understanding of the relationship or explain the age difference with the urge to stay in the conversation. Michelle and Philippi even received death threats.

Jasmin Herren also struggled on Instagram with comments such as "Has something of pedophilia for me." But the death threats against her colleague go too far for her. In an interview with RTL, she says: "We are public figures, but that doesn't mean that we are cleared to be shot down. Something like that should be indicated." In her opinion, it is above all a problem in society when a woman has a younger husband: "People are too conservative and not enlightened about this," says the 44-year-old.
Both couples try to bounce off the comments as best they can. Michelle and Philippi make it clear in an Instagram post: "We stay true to ourselves, don't let ourselves be bent... no matter what they say about us, love is free!". Their joint song "Falsch, dich zu lieben" gives them strength. They also want to encourage other couples and make the critics rethink, they write online.

In addition to spiteful comments, some fans of the pop star seem to be worried about her. "A lot of people are afraid that in a few years you'll be on your own again. How old will you be and him in ten years?" writes an Instagram user under a joint photo of the pop couple. Also, statements such as "Love sometimes makes you blind" or "At some point he may want to start a family ... that's no longer possible with the age difference," the 51-year-old had to read on the net.

But in the meantime, she no longer follows the discussions, as she tells Bild. In the future, the two prefer to concentrate on the positive letters they receive from fans - because these are also among the numerous hate messages.
