Joseph, a 24-year-old man, has been missing since Saturday, January 6. "It's been five days now since he returned home, and we haven't heard from him," the brother of the man who remains unaccounted for in a Facebook post. His disappearance was reported to the authorities early in the morning of January 6, "after a night out with his friends," said the Paris prosecutor's office, which confirmed the opening of an investigation into the disturbing disappearance of the Parisian.
In a Facebook post, Joseph's brother published two photos of the 20-year-old with his face and the outfit he was wearing on the night of the incident. He indicated in his wanted notice that the latter was dressed in a long black coat and that he was coming out of the nightclub Le Glazart, a techno temple of the Parisian nightlife, located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris.
Identified by surveillance cameras
According to information from our colleagues at Actu.fr, the nightclub could have identified the young man thanks to the video surveillance cameras present on the scene. He was reportedly seen in front of the nightclub at 7:36 a.m. with friends before entering the club at 7:41 a.m. and leaving only five minutes later. After that, Joseph did not hear from his relatives.
"All the evidence points to a major disturbing disappearance. The next few days are therefore of crucial importance," adds his brother. The investigation has been entrusted to the Brigade for the Repression of Crime Against the Person (BRDP).
