Dungay – On January 19, the 17th season of "I'm a Star – Get Me Out of Here!" will be launched on RTL. In the meantime, the twelve campers have already arrived in Australia and are preparing for the big TV event. But what happens if a candidate suddenly drops out? Then a replacement is provided. As bild.de reports, in the event of a retirement, a well-known Ballermann star will already be sitting on the reserve bench.
Jungle Camp 2024: This Ballermann star is to be available as a replacement candidate
This year, too, viewers can look forward to a colorful celebrity cast. In addition to TV star Hein Hoenig (72), model Cora Schumacher (47) and ex-professional soccer player David Odonkor (39) will also compete for titles, fame and honor. At the same time, the TV production must also react spontaneously to unforeseen events, such as illness or absence. An emergency plan is therefore also provided in the current season.
Now bild.de wants to have learned that it is none other than Ballermann star Tim Toupet (52). As was leaked from production circles, the party singer is already in Australia and is strictly shielded there. RTL, however, is still keeping a low profile on the matter. "We did not participate in speculation," a spokesman for the broadcaster told bild.de.

Tim Toupet – whose real name is Tim Bibelhausen – has made a career in the party hit industry with hits such as "Du hast die Haar schön" (2005), "Ich bin ein Döner" (2008) and the aviation song "So ein schöner Tag" (2008). He performs several times a week in his adopted home of Mallorca and is a regular guest at the "Bierkönig" party club. His hits have also been sung at the campfire in the jungle camp – including in 2008 by nude model Micaela Schäfer (40).

This year, the trained hairdresser from Cologne has already ventured his first foray into reality TV. Together with his partner Carina, he took part in the "Summer House of the Stars", which he voluntarily left prematurely. Does he have more stamina in the jungle camp? It wouldn't be the first time that a replacement camper has made it onto the winner's podium. Last year, make-up artist Djamila Rowe (56) replaced actor Martin Semmelrogge (68) at short notice and took the jungle crown.
