Ukrainian intelligence has reportedly obtained secret information from a Russian drone manufacturer – which could help in the war.
Kyiv – In the fight against the Russian aggressor, Ukraine has apparently succeeded in a small coup: in hybrid war – and precisely in the all-important topic of drone warfare. There, Kiev was recently in danger of falling behind, according to reports.
Now it is said that Ukrainian military intelligence has obtained 100 gigabytes of secret documents from a manufacturer of military equipment. In addition, a Ukrainian hacker group obtained personal information from clients of the Russian Alfa Bank and published it online. This was recently reported by the Kyiv Post. Nevertheless, information about war successes should always be taken with a grain of salt.
Ukraine Captured Weapons Documents – Worth $1.5 Billion?
The captured documents are said to be technological information from the Special Technological Center (STC), a military-industrial company based in St. Petersburg that has been subject to sanctions since 2016. According to the Kyiv Post, the SCT is responsible for a significant share of the production of military equipment and infrastructure that Russia is using in the war against Ukraine.
The documents, obtained by Ukraine's military intelligence service, which military experts reportedly estimate to be worth $1.5 billion, are said to contain information on 194 topics of Russia's military warfare – including drawings, patents and software information that could affect future Russian warfare.

Expertise in drone production would help Ukraine in the war
Specific information from documents on the production and further development of drones could currently be of great help to Ukraine: According to the think tank Royal United Services Institute, Ukraine's need for drones is estimated to be high. Ukraine is currently losing around 10,000 pieces every day, imported or from production. At the same time, drones are intended to reduce the risks to the civilian population. According to Kyiv Post, Ukraine is currently developing into an important center for the innovation and production of drones, both in defense and in attack.
The Ukrainian Main Directorate of Intelligence was proud, announcing: "This is a significant blow to terrorist Moscow: the archive is already being used to strengthen Ukraine's defense capability and weaken the aggressor state." The preservation of the documents was only possible through effective cooperation with "patriotic members of the public and the media community".

A Ukrainian hacker group captures customer data from Russian private bank
The portal also reported a successful hacker attack by a Ukrainian group called "Kiborg". Kiborg had obtained a table with 115,217,571 records of natural and legal customers of the Russian Alfa-Bank. Alfa-Bank is the largest private bank in Russia.
The information was subsequently presented by the hacker group. The group said on its website that it wanted to greet Mikhail Fridman, the founder of the Alfa Group, with the publication. However, the latter has not yet reacted. Ironically, Kiborg added, "Maybe one day he'll be more willing to talk to us." Earlier, Ukrainian hackers had already succeeded in some operations against the Russian financial system. (soru)
