Top star Barbara Meier has been given a guest role on "Dahoam is Dahoam". The model will be seen in three episodes of the cult series.

Munich – Since 2007, "Dahoam is Dahoam" has been broadcast on Bavarian television. The series has long since become a cult. In addition to the main cast, well-known stars made guest appearances in over 3,000 episodes. For example, the cabaret artist Christian Springer, goalkeeper legend Sepp Maier or model Lilly Becker. Now another internationally known top star is swapping the catwalk for the TV set: In three episodes, the model Barbara Meier (37) will be seen on "Dahoam is Dahoam".

According to a press release, Meier plays the super-perfect brewery managing director Anita Holzhammer. She and Uschi Kirchleitner (played by Silke Popp) are supposed to give a speech at a meeting of the Bavarian Association of Women Entrepreneurs. "But it's not quite as easy as it sounds."

The broadcasts were already recorded on November 21 and 22 last year. Barbara Meier can be seen on the following three dates from 19.30 p.m. on BR:

BR is also enthusiastic: "Barbara Meier is now an experienced actress, she speaks for the first time in her beautiful native dialect – Upper Palatinate," said Daniela Boehm, editorial director of "Dahoam is Dahoam". "So, of course, it fits very well into our Bavarian series."

Meier won the second season of "Germany's Next Topmodel" in 2007

Barbara Meier was born in the town of Amberg in the Upper Palatinate. She became known in 2007 when she won the second season of Heidi Klum's casting show "Germany's Next Topmodel". Subsequently, she worked as a model and actress. She has been married to Austrian entrepreneur Klemens Hallmann since 2019. The couple has two daughters (*2020, *2022). (vfi)
