Between -36°C and -40°C, a blizzard of more than 50 km/h and heavy snowfall: the last hours of campaigning in Iowa, the state that opens the ball of the Republican primaries tonight, have been disrupted by the extreme weather, "potentially deadly" according to experts, which is hitting Des Moines, the capital, and its surroundings. As a result, there is a great deal of uncertainty about caucus participation, although this is not necessarily a cause for concern for Donald Trump, who is the overwhelming favorite in the polls in this small rural state, as well as nationally. The former president held a final rally in Indianola on Sunday in -20°C weather.
