To mark the 100 days in which the abductees have been held captive by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Lucy Aharish also addressed the issue yesterday – interviewing Yarden Bibas' cousin, who was abducted to Gaza on October 7 along with his wife Shiri and their two children, Ariel, 4, and Kfir, <>.
During the interview, an emotional Aharish spoke in a voice choked with tears about family members in general and Shiri in particular, who has to deal with an impossible maternal situation with two small children in captivity. Later in her speech, the presenter tried to imagine what the children and their mother were going through. "How can you keep them there? What does he even understand? A day after the horrific massacre carried out by the terrorist organization on October 7 in the communities near the Gaza Strip and southern Israel, Aharish, who was attacked by web surfers for not expressing her opinion on the issue, wrote: "My dearest lover (referring to her husband and the father of her son, actor-singer Tzachi Halevi) went out to defend the country, and there is no rest.
