Herrsching - On Sunday afternoon, a motorist causes a collision in Herrsching. One person is taken to the hospital.

Around 11.35 a.m., there was a traffic accident in Herrsching, Mühlfeld, on the state road in the direction of Weilheim, reports the police. A 50-year-old woman from Seefeld wanted to turn left with her Fiat to the Herrsching brewery and overlooked a Daimler coming from the direction of Weilheim, driven by a 33-year-old driver from Fuchstal.

Both vehicles are badly damaged in the collision

The first consequences were a slightly injured person who was taken to Seefeld Hospital, two totally damaged vehicles that had to be towed away, as well as an accident site on the state road, which could be kept trouble-free thanks to the help of the Herrsching fire brigade. Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle who had the right of way was found to be under the influence of alcohol, which should be enough for at least another month of driving ban, according to the police.
