Campaigning for the European elections since September, Marion Maréchal prophesied on Tuesday on CNews that "three-quarters of the Republicans" would rally after the elections to be held on 9 June.
The head of the Reconquest list points to the lack of coherence between the opinions of François-Xavier Bellamy, appointed head of the Republican list on Monday evening, and the line of his party. "I don't understand how he can be at the head of a party that sits alongside Macronist elected officials in the regions," said the former RN deputy. I see that his group does not vote like him and that he is becoming a smokescreen." For her, the Republicans will eventually be absorbed by the majority party: "It's only a matter of time."
In an interview published in Le Figaro, François-Xavier Bellamy said that the election "involves a lot of the future of our political family, but also of democratic life in France".

Like Jordan Bardella for the National Rally (RN) and Marion Maréchal for Reconquête, the head of the Republicans' list promises to campaign in particular on immigration, where "the essential remains to be done" to guarantee "the protection of borders", as well as on the "reconstruction of economic security".
