Günzburg – In a large-scale collective control in a discotheque in the district of Günzburg, the police headquarters Swabia South/West seized a considerable amount of drugs in the night from 13 to 14 January. The emergency services arrived at the discotheque at around 00.45 a.m. and checked the 165 people present.

On the same night, the officers carried out searches in four properties at the homes of four suspects in the district of Günzburg, in the district of Augsburg and in Augsburg. A further 51 grams of amphetamine were seized.

In addition to the Swabian South/West Police Headquarters, the Neu-Ulm Criminal Police Inspectorate, the Kempten and Neu-Ulm Central Emergency Services, the Burgau Police Inspectorate, forces of the Bavarian riot police and the Bavarian Red Cross were also involved in the extensive inspection. Due to the cold weather and the sometimes heavy snowfall, heated tents were temporarily set up to carry out the police measures. The public prosecutor's office in Memmingen was on site with a public prosecutor to accompany the operational measures.
