ISA interrogation exposed: This is how Islamic Jihad operatives from the Gaza Strip train on Iranian/Shin Bet soil
The Israel Security Agency on Tuesday revealed transcripts of an interrogation carried out by Basel Mahdi, an Islamic Jihad platoon commander who was arrested by IDF forces in the Gaza Strip last December and taken for interrogation in Israel. His interrogation revealed that Islamic Jihad operatives had undergone fitness training and shooting at training bases on Iranian soil.
During interrogation, Mahdi described the training that Islamic Jihad operatives underwent at an Iranian military training base. The training, according to the investigation, was conducted by Iranian soldiers in groups of between 15 and 20 Islamic Jihad members from Gaza, Lebanon and Syria.
