Edna Bluestein, 79, from Ra'anana, was murdered yesterday (Monday) in a combined attack in the city. At least 18 other people were injured along with her, including two in life-threatening condition.
Her family said: "Edna, who was murdered yesterday, was born in 1944 in Tel Aviv and grew up there. As an adult, she moved to Ra'anana and lived there for more than 40 years."

"Edna, who was widowed at a young age, was a mother of two children and grandmother of six grandchildren. A loving and warm mother and grandmother, dominant and especially involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Edna believed in humanity and love of humanity, helped many people with humility and devotion."
"By training, she was a social worker with a master's degree who specialized in gerontology. Out of love for helping others, she continued her work even after retirement age, and was part of the management team of a parents' home in Herzliya. Since her retirement, she has been loved and always surrounded by family and friends. She loved to travel and consume art and culture."
"We love her forever and miss her terribly."
The family, which currently does not want to speak to the media, said there is still no date for her funeral and is waiting for their son to return from abroad.
