On Tuesday, IDF forces located a terrorist tunnel under the Salah a-Din route that crosses the Gaza Strip between the north and south. Fighters of the 646th Brigade and Yahalam forces destroyed the strategic tunnel belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization.

The forces of the 99th Division operate in the area of the Nuseirat camp. The 646th Brigade combat team, in cooperation with Yahalam forces and engineers of the 99th Division, destroyed a strategic underground route of the Hamas terrorist organization that crosses the Basor River. The route, which stretches hundreds of meters long and is about 9 meters deep, was used by the organization's terrorists to transport terrorists between the north and south of the Gaza Strip.

Lieutenant Colonel Erez, commander of Battalion 8105, said after the incident: "We are continuing our depth attack across the Gaza River. We crossed the river on infantry bridges with infantry and engineers, and now we are deep in the Gaza Strip and find the terror tunnels from which it all began."
