Italy is to ask the European Unionfor the sixth and seventh installments of the post-COVIDNational Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) this year, NRRP andEuropean Affairs Minister Raffaele Fitto said Thursday.
Fitto, who is also minister for cohesion and the South, hadtalks focused on Italy's revised fifth installment with theEuropean Commission's NRRP task force on Thursday in Brussels.
"In the coming days the government will present a Decree-Law, onwhich we are working in agreement with all the administrationsinvolved and the implementing bodies, aimed precisely atfacilitating and accelerating the achievement of the objectivesset in the new Plan. The goal is to present the requests for thesixth and seventh instalments by the end of 2024," stressedFitto.
