It was only on Thursday that the earth shook several times in the border triangle.
The next tremor followed on Friday near the Bavarian border and shocked people in Tyrol.
Waidring - This time it was even stronger: After the earth had shaken several times in the border triangle the day before, there was another earthquake in Austria on the night of Friday (January 19th).
As the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) announced, the earthquake was clearly felt in the epicenter with a measured magnitude of 3.4.
The third earthquake in two days: The earth shakes again in Tyrol.
This time in the Kitzbühel region.

Not far from the border with Bavaria: Another earthquake in Austria causes people to wake up from their sleep
The night may have been short for some residents in Tyrol: around 3:30 a.m. an earthquake shook the region again;
According to the Austrian Seismological Service (Geosphere Austria), the epicenter was in Waidring - and therefore not far from the Bavarian border.
A violent “thunder and rumble from the underground” woke many people in Kitzbühel from their sleep, as the ORF quoted those affected.
According to experts, slight damage can occur from a strength of 3 to 4.
Earthquakes are generally dangerous for people with a magnitude of 5 or more. Overall, the scale measures up to 10, but the highest level has not yet been measured.
No damage from last night is yet known.
The earth shook again in Austria.
A number of incidents were reported in January alone.
On Thursday (January 18th) there were two earthquakes, with a magnitude of 2.2 and 3.3.
The incidents are one of a kind across Europe: In Iceland, countless tremors have repeatedly put the authorities on alert in recent weeks.
