Shortly before the start of the jungle camp, a second replacement candidate should be chosen.

Can RTL viewers look forward to this former Playmate in the Australian bush?

Cologne/Australia – The 17th season of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” starts on Friday, January 19th at 8:15 p.m. on RTL.

The new jungle camp cast is already peppered with some well-known faces, including star actor Heinz Hoenig (72), World Cup hero David Odonkor (39) and “Good Times, Bad Times” actor Felix von Jascheroff (41).

However, RTL always has a few celebrities on board who only come along in an emergency and then step in if someone else leaves the show unplanned.

Ex-Playmate Cathy Lugner is said to be a jungle replacement candidate

The “Bild” newspaper recently announced that party singer Tim Toupet (52) would be one of the jungle camp replacement candidates.

Now the newspaper also wants to know about another replacement candidate - and that is none other than ex-Playmate Cathy Lugner.

The ex-wife of the Austrian building contractor Richard Lugner (91) is supposed to travel with him in case of emergency, to step in if there is trouble in the camp or if one of the participating celebrities throws in the towel prematurely.

However, the broadcaster RTL has not yet officially confirmed these rumors.

“Bild” quotes an RTL spokesman as saying: “We do not participate in speculation.” However, the paper is certain that Cathy Lugner is already in Australia and is waiting there for her possible assignment.

His nickname for her was “Spatzi,” which she used to market herself for a while.

In 2016, however, the divorce followed again.
