Members of Congress in both parties are losing faith in Binyamin Netanyahu, it was announced tonight (Saturday) on the NBC network.
This, following reports in recent days about growing tensions between the prime minister and government officials in general and President Joe Biden in particular.
According to the report, these are pro-Israeli lawmakers who are in key positions in positions related to national security.
Three of those members of Congress spoke with NBC and even wondered if Netanyahu even had a strategy for managing the war, and that it might even be in his interest to prolong it in order to survive politically.

"It's very difficult to defend Bibi or justify his strategy," said a Republican congressman, touching on national security issues.
"Personally, I think he will benefit from the conflict continuing, whether it is a conflict with Hamas or whether it is a conflict with Hezbollah," he added.
The same Republican congressman added: "There is great mistrust, and a real question as to whether he (Netanyahu) can lead, he is very, very unpopular, you can see it in the cabinet."
A Democratic member of Congress, who serves on the National Security Committee and considers himself a "true friend of Israel", agreed with the words of his colleague from the rival party and even added that Netanyahu is a "disaster".
Netanyahu's office responded to the statement: "The claim that Prime Minister Netanyahu is prolonging the war unnecessarily is complete nonsense. The Chief of Staff stated that it will be a long war that will require 'many months.'
Although significant progress has been made so far, more must be done to achieve the goals set by the cabinet - the destruction of Hamas, the return of the abductees and the demilitarization of Gaza for good."
