Iffeldorf - The dwarf race could take place for the first time in eight years.

30 children started the ski competition on the Iffeldorfer Heuwinkelberg.

Dream weather and optimal piste conditions awaited 30 children who took part in the Iffeldorf Ski Club's traditional dwarf race on the Heuwinkelberg, reports the club.

Due to the promising weather forecast, everything was organized within a few days.

The last dwarf race took place in 2016, eight years ago.

Everything was already prepared in 2019, but then the weather gods didn't cooperate and the snow was gone, the club continued.

All children born in 2014 and younger were allowed to start.

Appropriate for the age of the children, the race track was 100 meters long and had 8 gates.

After registration and the distribution of starting numbers, 30 children were excited for the start.

Joy at the overall award ceremony: Board member of the Iffeldorf Ski Club Markus Degen (l.) and 2nd board member Christa Pankratz (r.) with the 30 participants.
