Getting involved was “not a given”

The new elections were preceded by a review by Christian Schmid of the past year.

The department head particularly thanked the helpers after the hail storm and everyone who helped out at events.

“This is no longer a given.

Support is often promised, but then not shown,” said outgoing youth leader Harry Schneider.

This is becoming increasingly important when working with young talent: “For me, tables are nothing but smoke and mirrors, but it is important to look after the young athletes in all age groups.”

First team reached promotion round

While Hans Rest's financial report ended with overspending, Christian Schmid's sporting balance was absolutely positive.

The first team reached the promotion round by finishing second in the group phase, and the second team is also fighting for promotion to a higher league after the winter break.

At the end of the meeting there were honors for the outgoing officials and deserving players.
