Valentín Barco
is an official
player for
Brighton & Hove Albion of the English Premier League.
The club announced the signing this Saturday on its social networks and welcomed the 19-year-old Argentine footballer who executed the termination clause of
10 million euros
he had with Boca.
“We are delighted to welcome him to the club and are looking forward to seeing how he progresses and develops under Roberto (De Zerbi, the team's coach)
,” says the statement released by the club.
Barco is currently in Venezuela affected by the
Argentine Under 23 National Team

Barco played 35 games in Boca's Primera.
He debuted with Miguel Ángel Russo when he was 16 years old and was later relegated by Sebastián Battaglia and Hugo Ibarra.
He established himself in the first team in the last semester under the leadership of Jorge Almirón and was key to reaching the final of the Copa Libertadores.
The player born on May 25, represented by Adrián Ruocco, left Boca in the middle of a conflict with the Football Council.
Colo had renewed his contract a year ago, but only on the condition that the termination clause was not raised.
This summer, the club tried to give him an upgrade and raise his clause, but the player preferred to leave for England.
