Last Saturday evening, New York police officers received reports of a case of violence at a house on 45th Street in Borough Park, in the Brooklyn neighborhood of the city.

When they arrived, they found inside the house the couple Jacob and Rachel Sperber, both 75 years old, lifeless with stab marks on their bodies.

Neighbors and friends of the murdered shared their shock and pain that the couple were special and kind people, were always ready to give and always did everything to help their son.

Eyewitnesses say that the son of the murdered men barricaded himself inside the apartment.

"I know the parents were very special. It's just unbelievable," said neighbor Shmuel Weiss.

He shared that the couple loved to give and give to anyone who needed it, and above all they were a wonderful mother and father who opened their arms to their son even in his difficult moments when he needed help.
