Netanyahu and Gallant align:
the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense today (Sunday) issued two announcements a few minutes apart from which the message emerges: for the time being, Israel rejects for the time being the cease-fire proposals from Hamas.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "I reject outright the terms of surrender of the monsters of Hamas. In exchange for the release of our hostages, Hamas demands the end of the war, the withdrawal of our forces from Gaza, the release of all the murderers and rapists of the Nuh'ba and the leaving of Hamas intact."
Vekets added: "The conditions set by Hamas sharpen a simple truth - there is no substitute for victory. Only a complete victory will ensure the elimination of Hamas and the return of all our abductees. If anyone has a different position, let them show leadership and state their position honestly to the citizens of Israel."
A few minutes after Netanyahu's announcement, Gallant issued a statement in which he presented the fighting as one that is not expected to stop soon.
"We are operating in the Khan Yunis area and it will continue to expand. The smoke mushrooms of the tanks, of the cannons and of the Air Force planes will continue to cover the skies of the Gaza Strip, until we achieve our goals, first of all - the defeat of Hamas and the return of abductees to their homes."
