A worker was moderately injured in an accident in Munich.
The accident happened in a Deutsche Bahn ICE depot.
Munich - On Saturday morning (January 20th) an accident occurred in the ICE depot of Deutsche Bahn in which a 33-year-old worker - according to an initial assessment - suffered moderate injuries to his legs.
This was announced by the Munich Federal Police.

At 3:50 a.m., the man maneuvered a hydraulic wheel set changer backwards while working.
He stood on a slightly raised footboard and operated the device.
“According to initial investigations, he - probably due to carelessness - steered the hydraulic wheelset changer against a permanently installed bogie changer,” the federal police continued.
His feet and lower legs were trapped between the rear of the wheelset changer and the bogie changer.
“There were bruises and, most likely, fractures in the feet/lower legs area,” the press release continues.
The man, who lives in Berg am Laim, was treated by an emergency doctor and rescue service and rescued with the help of a lifting cushion from the Munich fire department and taken to a Munich hospital.
More detailed information about the injuries is not yet known.
However, based on the pattern of injuries on site, rescue workers are assuming that the injuries are moderately serious.

A wheelset changer
is
