This time “Der Bergdoktor” star Hans Sigl was allowed to help out as co-moderator at “Kölner Treff”.

But how was the replacement for Micky Beisenherz received by WDR viewers?

Cologne – On Friday evening (January 19th), the “Kölner Treff” viewers expected a new but well-known face as co-host.

Because instead of Micky Beisenherz (46), Hans Sigl (54) sat on Susan Link's (47) side.

The 46-year-old will be out for a total of three weeks as he is currently pursuing other TV commitments: The Hamburg resident has been an author at Jungle Camp for 15 years and will continue to help diligently behind the RTL scenes in 2024.

Hans Sigl helps out at the “Kölner Treff”: “Bergdoktor” star creates enthusiasm

However, with the lead actor in “Der Bergdoktor”, WDR has hired a very experienced man: Hans Sigl regularly moderates the “Starnacht” events alongside entertainer Barbara Schöneberger (49), most recently presenting twice in a row with pop star Francine Jordi ( 46) “The Big New Year’s Eve Show” on the first and even helped Andrea Kiewel (58) on “ZDF- Fernsehengarten” in 2019.

The native Austrian is not only inspiring as an actor, but also as a talk host, as numerous comments on the “Kölner Treff” Facebook page show: feedback such as “The new presenter Hans Sigl has done a very good job!” or “I would like to come along more often Hans Sigl, because he’s doing a great job!” can be read there.

The 54-year-old was a “very good and worthy replacement for Micky Beisenherz”.

In addition, with Susan Link he made a “very well-coordinated moderation duo”.

The first “Cologne Treff” of the new year was well received overall, not least thanks to great guests, including news anchor Judith Rakers (48), actor Peter Lohmeyer (61) and investigative reporter Günter Wallraff (81).

For Hans Sigl, the trip to WDR is already over: On January 26th, Elke Heidenreich (80) returns to her old place of work, and in the following edition (February 2nd), presenter Wayne Carpendale (46) sits at Susan Link's side.

The current issue, however, brought some interesting insights: Judith Rakers revealed details about her “Tagesschau” farewell.
