Caren Miosga takes over Anne Will's slot on ARD.
This should be financially worthwhile for the former “Tagesthemen” presenter.
Berlin - On Sunday (January 21st) the starting signal is finally given: Caren Miosga (54) presents her own talk show on ARD and is the successor to Anne Will (57).
Every Sunday evening at 9:45 p.m., the former “Tagesthemen” presenter will discuss current topics with guests on Erste, including CDU leader Friedrich Merz for the premiere.
But what does the journalist actually earn from “Caren Miosga”?
Caren Miosga's new talk show: That's how much money NDR is spending on it
After Caren Miosga's emotional farewell to the “Tagesthemen”, she is now turning to a new task.
According to
t-online,
the 54-year-old has even founded her own company: Mio Media GmbH, in which she holds 75 percent of the shares.
With her company, Miosga has signed a contract with NDR - the responsible broadcaster for her new talk show.
NDR is digging deep into its pockets for Miosga's new political talk.
Research by

even reveals concrete figures: According to a “finally agreed calculation”, the broadcaster pays around 5.8 million euros annually for the production.
That's just over 195,000 euros per shipment.
This puts the budget in the middle range of public talk shows.
The NDR itself did not want to comment on this.
