Vienna - Conchita Wurst (35) is currently in ESC fever: Ten years after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Austrian singer Tom Neuwirth is now deciding who can fight in the German preliminary round for the coveted ticket for this year's ESC in Malmö.
There is no question that the “Rise like a Phoenix” interpreter enjoys musical TV projects like this or “Music Impossible”.
But things don't seem to be progressing so quickly with a personal music project - a duet with Helene FIscher (39), of all things, is on the back burner.

In 2022, Neuwirth, aka fictional character Conchita Wurst, revealed to the Austrian newspaper

that he would like to be on stage with Schlager queen Helene Fischer (39).
When asked about it by the newspaper a few days later, Fischer replied: “Well, I'm very open.

R.] is unfortunately not taking place this year, but I'm sure it will come back and that would be a good possibility.
Of course I would like to sing with her.”
In 2023, the “Helene Fischer Show” returned to TV on Christmas Day after a three-year Corona break - but there was no sign of Conchita Wurst.

: “I have such a bad conscience because it was always my fault that it didn’t work out.”
In fact, the 39-year-old had already been invited to various music projects, but “then I couldn’t do it for a variety of reasons,” says Conchita Wurst.
“There was always something that didn't bring us together.
She's probably thinking to herself: 'Dude, I've already said a thousand times that she should come, but she doesn't have the time.'"

Conchita Wurst also reveals what kind of performance fans could look forward to: “I think I would sing a monster ballad like that with her.
