Benediktbeuern - The citizens' initiative “BIWOB” in Benediktbeuern has set itself the goal of combating the destruction of living space, abuse of building rights and arbitrariness by authorities.
The citizens’ initiative (BI) “BIWOB” was formally founded in Benediktbeuern.
According to spokesman Burkhard Stüwe, the declared aim of this is to combat the destruction of living space, abuse of building rights and arbitrariness by authorities.
The consolidation came about under the sponsorship of the SOS Social Works based in Geretsried, says Stüwe.
The organization, which helps disadvantaged people with an all-round concept, has had bad experiences with authorities for more than twelve years.
According to Stüwe, the authorities are primarily not concerned with helping people, but rather with saving money.
Violations of applicable law are the order of the day here.
Planned demolition caused a stir
Due to the concerns of its clients, the social work agency also became aware of the behavior of the building authorities.
And the planned demolition of newly built residential buildings on the Wolfratshauser Isarspitz had received a lot of attention.
The BI suggests using the houses for social projects.
In addition, massive criticism was expressed about the behavior of the building authorities in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district, says Stüwe.
In particular, the “inappropriate communication behavior of the office” and the “approval policy for construction projects and applications for change of use” were denounced, according to Stüwe.
