Fleximan has arrived in Lombardy.
In the province of Bergamo, the pole of the fixed speed camera located on state road 42 in AlbanoSant'Alessandro was cut cleanly.
As L'Eco di Bergamo reports today, the episode occurred in the night between Saturday and yesterday and at 5am yesterday morning motorists noticed the pole ending up in the embankment at the side of the road, where the speed limit is 90 kilometers per hour.
However, the sister aircraft on the other side of the highway was not touched.
Fixed speed cameras have been present in that stretch since 2002 and detect around 5,500 infringements every year.
There are no cameras that could have recorded Fleximan in action.
