Netanyahu: I reject outright the terms of surrender/the government press office
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today (Monday) with representatives of the families of the abductees, and said that Israel has an initiative for their release, but refused to elaborate on its content.
"Contrary to what they say, there is no real proposal from Hamas - this is not true," Netanyahu said.
"I say this as clearly as I can because there are so many wrong things that must be tormenting you."

Last week, Netanyahu revealed that Hamas made a proposal for a hostage deal, which would lead to the end of the war.
The prime minister also said that he did not agree to the proposal, because the conditions include the withdrawal of the IDF from Gaza, the release of Nohba terrorists and leaving Hamas intact.
"We will not compromise on full Israeli security control over the entire area west of Jordan."
Netanyahu also added: "If we agree to Hamas' terms - our fighters have fallen in vain. If we agree to this - we will not be able to guarantee the safety of our citizens. We will not be able to safely return the evacuees to their homes, and next October 7 will only be a matter of time."
