After a snowy episode, it's time for wind.
Paris and all the departments of Île-de-France were placed on yellow alert for violent winds this Monday, January 22.
The alert issued overnight is expected to continue until 3 p.m. as Storm Isha sweeps through the region.
Although the latter should not be as violent as its predecessors, gusts of up to 91 km/h at the Montsouris station and up to 107 km/h at the top of the Eiffel Tower were nevertheless recorded and some damage was reported this morning.
Several falling trees risk disturbing public transport users in Paris and more widely in Île-de-France.
Reported by Île-de-France Mobility on its networks, they notably caused the disruption of several rail lines including lines C and E of the RER as well as line P of the Transilien.
Disruptions expected until noon
On the
RER C
, traffic was disrupted from 7 a.m. this morning in both directions of traffic, between Versailles-Chantiers and Massy-Palaiseau due to “the presence of a tree on track 1 in the Petit-Palaiseau sector. Jouy-les-Loges”, as RATP explained on its page
On the
RER E
, a falling tree also interrupted traffic between Gretz-Armainvilliers and Tournan-en-Brie until midday.
Traffic is also disrupted between Haussmann Saint-Lazare and Gretz-Armainvilliers in both directions, RER E account X said at 6:30 a.m.

Traffic is interrupted between Gretz-Armainvilliers and Tournan en Brie until 12 p.m. and disrupted between Haussmann St-Lazare and Gretz-Armainvilliers in both directions.
This is explained by an obstacle on the track, a fallen tree between Gretz and Tournan.

Regarding
line P of the Transilien
, traffic is interrupted between Coulommiers and Tournan-en-Brie in both directions until midday, again due to a fallen tree between Gretz and Tournan-en-Brie which caused “a power supply problem” between stations.
