The Supreme Court decided this Monday in a close vote that will allow Border Patrol agents to cut or remove the barbed wire fence installed by Texas on the border with Mexico as part of the efforts of its Republican governor, Greg Abbott, to deter irregular migrant crossings.
With five votes in favor and four against, the court accepted an emergency request presented by the Government of Democrat Joe Biden in which it argued that Texas was preventing border agents from carrying out their federal tasks.
