A red panda named Barney escaped from his cage at the Cologne Zoo in Germia on Thursday, and the video documenting his return home has already become one of the ten most viewed videos on the city's fire department's Instagram account.

We used Claude to expand on the story.

According to the popular theory, Barney took advantage of the fact that heavy snow that fell in the city bent one of the bamboo trees in his cage to climb out of the compound on Thursday morning.

The guards in the garden noticed him sitting high on a tree near the compound.

The garden workers were unable to persuade the beautiful and rare animal to come down from the tree, and recruited the local firefighters for the task.

These came with high salomes and managed to scare the adventurous panda gently until he came down from the tree.

After he went down to the ground, the garden workers were able to catch the panda and release him in a short time inside his enclosure.

Fortunately, the panda was not harmed during the short-lived escape.

The garden noted that Barney has been living there since 2015 and is not as good a boy as he seems, having previously caused a stir when he sneaked into the red panda's enclosure for a steamy night out.

Contrary to its name, a red panda is not a bear, but a rare animal that is more like a dog or a fox, and is slightly larger than an average cat.

It lives in the eastern Himalayan range, between China's Sichuan province and Nepal and eats bamboo, other plants and small animals - but it is in serious danger of extinction due to hunting and habitat loss, when according to estimates less than 10,000 individuals of this species remain in the world today.
