Less than 24 hours after the terrible rape of a student in Villejuif, during the night from Thursday to Friday, judicial police investigators arrested a suspect living not far from the scene of the crime.
Already known to the courts, this 25-year-old young man was indicted “for rape at gunpoint” and “robbery with a weapon” on Sunday, specifies the Créteil public prosecutor's office which requested his placement in pre-trial detention.
The suspect was immediately incarcerated.
The case began Thursday evening with a phone call from a man to the emergency police.
His daughter, taking refuge with a neighbor, has just called him.
She would have suffered a sexual attack of rare violence.
“She went through hell,” sums up a person close to the case.
A man broke into her home and raped her for part of the evening.

Ten minutes later, someone rings his apartment.
The student opens and immediately finds herself face to face with this man showing a knife.
At gunpoint, he demands her purse and credit card.
Terrified, she complies.
Only, the man is not finished.
“He gags her and ties her up,” described a person close to the case before specifying: He dicked her.
» There, he raped her before fleeing in the middle of the evening, not without leaving with his cell phone.
Finally, after leaving, the victim managed to free herself from her bonds before fleeing to a neighbor she knew.
At the shelter, she called her father.
Hospitalized in a state of shock, the student was finally released from hospitalization.
Deeply traumatized, she is awaiting a psychological evaluation to determine the extent of the medical harm.
The fence arrested with the victim's cell phone
Quickly on site, experts from the Val-de-Marne judicial police, in charge of the investigation, sifted through the apartment looking for the slightest clue, such as genetic fingerprints.
“The suspect had been frequenting the area for some time,” says a source close to the case.
During their investigation, the police were also able to trace the receiver of the victim's cell phone.
