The vast majority of brides prefer that the husband remain faithful to them and of course not betray them, God forbid.
But Katie agreed that Dan, her future husband, would sleep with someone else already on the wedding night.
And not just anyone else - her friend who was the bridesmaid in their wedding.
She said that Dan was the one who suggested trying to swap partners, claiming that "he wants to see her with another guy."
She was at a loss at first, but eventually they came to an agreement on an open marriage.
"Jealousy is part of it, it makes it more exciting," shared Katie, who saw her husband sleeping with another woman for the first time, but admitted that she quite enjoyed it.
Katie and Dan's wedding was anything but ordinary.
"We took one of my girlfriends to the bedroom on the day of the wedding," Katie confessed, "we drank some alcohol and had threesome sex, it was really fun."
But Katie's family really didn't treat it as something "fun" and decided not to come to the roof when they heard about what she was planning.

"They were very angry and thought it was a disgrace," Cathy said on the podcast.
"I had a hard time with the fact that my family didn't come to my wedding. But I looked at the pictures and saw how happy everyone was around me and how much everyone loved who we were."
Kirsty, who served as Katie's bridesmaid at the wedding, is herself married to Tom but both couples were open to the idea of swapping partners.
Kirsty and her husband Tom met on Tinder nine years ago and married soon after, but it wasn't until a few years into their marriage that they discovered they shared an interest in swinging.
Kirsty claims that many people want to open up their marriages, but most are not sure how to bring up the subject with their partner.

Kirsty and Tom, she says, sleep with other couples quite regularly - "maybe four or five a week", and are especially close to Katie and Dan.
"It's just a normal friendship, like any other friendship," Tom added, "even though we share women."
